QUAIFE GDU issue

Hi guys! Can someone please explain me this.. why does it happen? The whole system has about 1.2l -1.4l oil incl. Cooler..

 

and it really poors out alot. The breather is new as well

@lunatic, it looks like it is overfilled.  Did you put in a measured amount, or did you fill it to the bottom of the fill plug?  These units are a bit sensitive to fill level and if you have even a little extra fluid it will come out of the breather.  Remove the fill level plug on the side of the GDU and only fill it until it gets to that level.

I filled up to the plug. And then added 2dl ekstra for the oil cooler

@lunatic, that is the problem.  A good way to make sure the cooler is filled is to ack up the car and then rotate the rear wheels by hand u til fluid is coming through the return hose.  Then fill until the bottom of the fill hole. It is tempting to add extra oil, but even a little extra oil will end up coming out of the breather.

Thanks man! Know for next time. I just let it drain it self like this.  Only got one drop out after testing
