I’m trying to add a new AiM Shift Light Module to my 2020 SR3 XX, chassis SR3-01296.
The current setup is:
- PDM32: firmware 02.35.42
- FSW_R steering wheel: firmware 02.33.52, boot 02.24.00
- SmartyCam GP HD Rev 2.2: hardware release 02A, firmware 01.04.24
- GPS08: connected through the SmartyCam
- New Shift Light Module: firmware 02.40.55
Race Studio 3 detects the SLM but refuses to transmit the configuration with it added, stating that the PDM firmware must be updated first. I haven’t performed any updates yet.
Does anyone know the supported firmware combination for this setup, particularly with the Radical-specific FSW_R wheel?
- Which units need updating, and to which exact versions?
- Does updating the PDM require a corresponding SmartyCam or FSW_R update?
- In what order should the updates be performed, and which devices should remain connected during each step?
Just nervous about bricking something or ending up with some of the issues I've seen described on this forum.
