LS bodywork
Do you have to drain the radiator and pull the hoses off to get the body work off?
I've got to this point but it seems like the only option is to do so because the radiator mounting seems to be impossible to get around.
Hi Josh (@meatman), I have not taken the side pod off of an SR3SS (Gen 1 car), but I have done it on the SR3RS (Gen 2 car) and I would think the process would be similar. If you want to leave the radiator attached to the cooling system you have to remove the fasteners that attach the the top and bottom of the radiator to the side pod. The fasteners are behind the radiator and are used to clamp the radiator in place. The fastener on the bottom can be a little tricky because it sometimes gets covered up by the side skirt (which extends under the side pod). I have attached a picture that shows where the bottom fastener is located on the RS, so hopefully it is similar on the SS. Once the fasteners are removed the radiator needs be slid through the opening in the inside of the sidepod.
If you choose to disconnect the radiator hoses so that you can leave the radiator in the side pod you should empty the system first.

Hmmm, it appears the mounting system is different in mine, the radiator seems to be "wedged" on purpose into fibreglass tracks. When I pull this body work towards the back wheel the radiator starts to slide out of these tracks, as in it's not fastened in, but I lose room to pull it all the way out when the body work hits the caliper.
Side note after seeing your picture of your car on the air jacks..... Now I really want to get the missing lance and bottle system to make mine useful.
