Hi all,

After over 20 years of track days in various road cars in different levels of track prep, I've bitten the bullet and gone all in with an SR3 Supersport.  It's chassis number 00098 (circa 2003), it's in pretty good shape and drives really well.  The plan is to try and sneak a couple more track days in before the end of the year, then pamper and get to know it better mechanically over the winter.  The history I have about the car is limited at the moment, so welcome any info anyone might have.

Here's my to do list so far:
- Remove air jacks or get a scuba tank with regulator for 250-300psi
- Get oil and filters
- Source data cable and software for car and Farringdon SWIS20-R Steering Wheel
- Wheel nut and torque wrench 240lb/ft
- Silencer (Do I need one for Donington 98db?)
- Trailer LxWxH 4200x1800x980
- Dipstick (Unless I can find information on fill level without a genuine dipstick)

I promise to try to do my research before I ask questions... 🙂  BTW - I'm the same PhilT that runs RS246.com.  Based in South Yorkshire, UK.

Hi Phil!  Welcome!  Your car looks great.  What engine does it have?  Any other options?  Don’t remove the air jacks, they are a great feature that you will appreciate having.  I am looking forward to hearing more about your car. Don’t hesitate to ask questions, we are all happy to help.

Charley

Cheers Charley and of course Paul 👍🏻

It's the first car I've had with air jacks so we'll see if they come in handy.  It's the best track day party trick bar none 😁
