I haven't driven the car since last August and was checking fluid levels as I have a few "drips" here and there.

My GDU needs a ml to get back up to full and I because my memory is terrible I started to double check the purple fluid that is in the GDU is the same purple stuff I have on the shelf. The fluid on the shelf is a RP 75-140. Every post I quickly saw on the old webs says it should be 75-90 so now I'm wondering why I have 5 bottles of the 140 on my shelf?? LoL

Has the GDU fluid recommendation altered a bit over the years and I'm fine running the 140? I do typically run on very hot days 25-30c days.

Point being my memory sucks 😔

Please radical gods please awnser my calls 🤙

.. you are probably using the Motul 75W-140... others use the Neo-Synth 75-90... their are people that have used both and have developed a preference (I ended up using Neo-Synth after trying both)... but I suspect both are OK.

I always end up writing fluid specs and service dates on a note in my phone because I know I'll forget them later. If you're not 100% sure what's in the GDU now, I'd err on the side of changing it rather than mixing fluids. It's cheap insurance compared to the cost of gearbox repairs, and then you know exactly where you're starting from.
