I have bought a 2022 SR3XX with the solid state Life ECU. Upon arrival the GPS was not functional so lap times are not available. I have been told its a software conflict with steering wheel and GPS amd needs a softwaee "patch". Has anyone else had this problem on the newer ECU?

I had a gps problem with my 2021 SR3XX. I called AiM and they asked me to send in the smartycam and the GPS, which were tested and they determined that the GPS was faulty. It was sent back to Italy where the logic board was replaced, sent back to me after about 3 months. There was no charge and everything has been working perfect ever since.
I heard there were (or perhaps still are) many issues with faulty AiM GPS09 units, and I have also heard that there have been issues with the PDM although I have not had problems with the PDM or ECU.
