Please someone 3D print a block off cover for shifter hole.
The car I'm picking up on Saturday has both paddles and a shifter. Is this normal? Possibly a sign of aftermarket paddles? Do you guys remove the shifter when the car has paddles? I'd also be interested in a plate to remove the handle and plug the hole.

Hi Mark (@gobble), I am glad to see you on the Forum. At some point you will have to share some pictures of your new car...other than the ones I have already seen. 😉 I have seen several cars like yours that have both. Your car appears to have the Radical shift paddle shift system. If it were my car I would disconnect the “snicker shifter”. The paddle shifting is so nice on these cars, I can’t imagine a situation where you would want both. When you pick up the car it might be worth asking Rick (the previous owner) if he knows why it has both.

Does the stick have any function that the paddles won't cover? Stupid question but do these cars have reverse?
No, the stick doesn’t do anything that the paddles don’t do. They stick and paddles are redundant.
Yes, these do have reverse. There is a handle on the sidewall (near where your hip is) that switches the the GDU into reverse.

@performer66, Hi Markus, you get a chance to experiment with creating a block off plate?
