Please someone 3D print a block off cover for shifter hole.
I'm sure a lot of us would buy a snap in block off cover to fill the ugly hole where the shifter would have been. Anyone with a 3D printer want to give it a go 🙂
That is a great idea. I have toyed with the idea of making a cover plate out of Carbon fiber that could be installed there. I have plenty of carbon, but don't have a car handy to make a mold off of.
I filled the hole with a ‘glass patch on one of my seats. I’d love a simpler solution than that.
If you make it, I will buy it!
Give me a bit of time!
You bet! Thanks for taking on the challenge!
The challenge is that my SR3 doesn‘t have paddleshift.
Let me know if you need dimensions.
Make sure to get Camo color 🙂
Don't you mean "racer tape" ? 🤣 😎
Seriously though, one thing to consider: it's real easy to put your weight right there when climbing in and out of the car. I wonder if an aluminum piece that overlaps the hole might be a better choice?
@CharleyH
I like that. I've got a seat sitting on a shelf that I can use to make one.
I'd be interested too. 🙂
