I was able to work out a way to use a typical American V8 engine stand to fit my RPB. The question I have is if the case can handle the weight like this. Any thoughts?

As a mechanical engineer, it doesn't look good.  Those small cast aluminum ears are not very robust to hold all that cantilevered weight.  I would support it on the other side too.

I use the same type of engine stand for my cobra ford V8.  The arms bolt to the bellhousing surface that is the main rear casting of the entire block.  In your case you have an offset casted piece with tiny ears to mount to the trans that is being axially loaded not put in bending like shown

Thanks Trevor, as an electrical engineer it doesn't look good to me either, lol. I was hoping someone with a little RPX experience would chime in with a "we do it all the time, no problem gov". 😎

I can take one of the arms and attach it to one of the big bosses on the head, but I'd have to leave my corona-free environment and venture out to the local Ace Hardware. Time to get my mask and head on out there.

Here it is, you are fine John!

Radical mounts in the engine shop are all on that face!
