Anyone that changes their own fluid or when changing gear sets do you use goop in conjunction with the gasket? Or do you just use the gasket?

Have you confirmed power is reaching the fuel pump and air pump?

I'm wondering if this spherical bearing is pressed in? I gave it a few Love taps with a socket and a hammer but it would not come out so I stopped and figured I'd find out before I did something dumb....
