Yes I noticed that too with XX's and PDM cars, even though you have the Master switch OFF, the PDM comes alive when you introduce +12V power to the fuel pump direct feed loom.

If you downloaded the data from your run, you should also be able to check if the shifter recorded any paddle triggers... If you see paddles triggered in the data the issue could very likely be a faul...
