Early 2020 SR3 XX with FSW_R wheel - Looking for confirmation
As I learn this car I'm trying to sort out what I do and do not know regarding the AIM integration with Radical as it relates to the FSW_R wheel. I'm trying to confirm if others with the same wheel show "GPS: NO CONN" on the Info line of your wheel? I also can't seem to keep the time accurate, has anyone else figured that out?
I have the programming cable and have been able to edit the display pages, however there are a few things in the ECU Stream that Radical has locked, even with the device key, they remain locked.
I'm also trying to understand the TPMS they used in these cars. I've been able to validate the box is transmitting to the CAN but I can't seem to get the data to read on the wheel. I can display it, but it never reads anything more than 1psi for all 4 wheels. If I go into live view with the PDM32 I can see the data, right/wrong, but I can't seem to get that same info to the wheel.
I've seen other discussions on how their early XX's are configured and mine is: GPS to SmartyCam, Smartycam to EXP/CAN port and into the PDM.
Any feedback is appreciated,
Kevin
Looking forward to what you find out. A few things from my experience:
- I don't have the GPS:NO CONN, have never seen that error
- I have never been able to have my wheel keep time correctly, I ignore it
- My AIM was supposed to be unlocked but I too can't make changes to some components. Specifically the custom CAN stream that Radical uses to share information from the PDM to the wheel
- I have never been able to get my TPMS to display on my wheel. I did end up frying my PDM and had to send it to AIM for repair. I ended up using a loaner and when it was installed I did see tire pressures which was interesting. Once I reverted back to my repaired PDM... the pressures stopped working again. I am going to dig into that this winter. The TPMS always works on my PDM through live view and stored data.
Kevin
