My Radical SR3 XX has somewhat strange brake bias situation. According to the dash, when brakes are applied lightly (below 10psi) the bias is 59% front, moderately (10-20psi) - 56%, and hard (35psi+) it's 54.5% front.  I also took the brake pressure data from the data logger and divided front pressure by rear pressure at different pressure levels and got exactly the same numbers. Shouldn't it be the same at all pressures? Is this normal? At higher speed (and thus high brake pressure) rear locks up first.

G'day @maxltv

I'm not sure I can answer your question completely, but I can tell you that my SR3RSX does the same thing.... so at least for our cars this seems 'normal'

The below table has been shared previously on this Forum, and relates to what you are looking into so I will share this as well...

Radical Brake Bias Settings

Hope that helps a bit!

Mine behaves the same as well - but I honestly don't pay much attention to what the setting is and just dial it forward as needed. The more 6th - 2nd gear braking corners on a track, the more I dial it forward.

Good to know, at least mine is not broken then. I looked at the numbers because when my car was delivered, it felt very much off, acting like a mechanical bull into every turn, as if brake bias was strongly shifted to the rear. The mechanic reassured me that the car was set up the same way as they set up all other cars by a certain number of turns from the middle setting. Eventually, I could not handle it so I checked brake pressures in data and noticed that it was indeed 49% front, just as I suspected. Getting it to 54%-55% requires maxing out adjustment to the front, which does not seem normal. I wonder why this may be the case. It's a brand-new car (SR3 XX).
