Do yall have recommendations for reliable cordless impact gun capable of recommended 260 ft-lbs torgue - both tightening and loosening?  I have a very large 3/4" manual torque wrench capable of 600 ft-lbs, but would rather not use that regularly.

I use the Earthquake Harbor Freight 3/4in impact driver and it works great.  It makes tire changes super quick and easy.  If you are racing without a support crew, it’s a must have tool IMO.  Note, I’ve seen the Milwaukee go on sale for close to the same price so if you’re not in a hurry that could be an option too.

The Milwaukee is a great choice. I've got the Makita as that was the battery system I already had. Both drivers make it a snap to take the nut off. I still torque to spec with the wrench though.

I love the Milwaukee Fuel line. I've got 6 or 7 of their 12v tools, and I'm sure their bigger 18v 1/2" impact will do the job.

I'm still using an older Ridgid 18v impact with fine results -- and when it breaks I'll buy the Milwaukee.
