Several questions as I prepare for Radical arrival in a few months, would like your recommendations or source to order:

  1. front mechanical quick lift for front of these cars?
  2. short collapsible chassis stands to put under car when working?
  3. portable collapsible x-brace w/  chain light stand to set rear engine cowling on - body panel stand  (see photo)?
    cowling stand

  4. I have a Stilo ST5 helmet, but need a recommended diffuser to help reduce buffeting and lift while in the car.  Stilo YA0623 rear spoiler or some other aftermarket

Here is what I bought.

1. Front lift jack... https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecID=872

2. Lift Stands...  https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productselection.asp?Product=3175

3. Not sure on that...I just set mine on some plastic saw horses.

4. No first hand experience, but my driving buddy has that exact rear spoiler on his Stilo and reports very little buffeting.

1 front jack https://www.summitracing.com/parts/bgr-bgr154p

2 lift stands https://www.summitracing.com/parts/bgr-bgr127p

3 Cant help

4 Helmet https://bellracing.com/1314005-gtx3-gloss-white-61.html

I have used the same jacks/stands as Thomas with another Formula car and they work well.   Helmet- I sit low in my Radical so can't give you a good reference but have used the Bell in an open wheel car and no issues with buffeting.  I just purchased the Roux R1 but have not used in yet so can't comment but has great features such as built in mic/headphones, drink, cooling veins.

If you're just looking to change tires at the track, the Radical suggested method seems to work well.  Standard race jack at the rear lift point.  Lift until the splitter almost touches the ground.  Put 4x6 under middle of the car where rivets are on the bottom.  Drop car back down and both ends are off the ground.  Control the ends with the jack.  Fastest thing I've found so far.
