Hi All,

I had an unfortunate accident in my RSX about two weeks ago (slipped on oil dumped by another car that was 0.7 seconds ahead of me in a 160km/hr corner...) and will need to remove the steering rack from my car... Any advice on maintenance on this item while I've got it out?

I've searched this Forum and can't seem to find any info on this.  I'm not sure who (OEM) makes the rack (maybe Titan?) and definitely can't find any info on whether there are any lubrication points, etc

... any help appreciated

Sorry to hear about your “off track excursion”, I hope you are alright.

Unfortunately I can’t be helpful with your question.

@charleyhradicalsportscarregistry-com

sounds like a question for the 'ask radical' section of the forum maybe?!

Hi Rod,

I run a PR6 so this might not be of any use to you, but….

The two bushes at either end of my rack were a bit worn last year so I decided to give it a little overhaul, the part numbers for Radical were SR0055. Not sure of these are the same as the SR3, I’ll attach some pics of mine for reference. Everything else was just a good clean up and I’d just so all in cost less than £35 plus some new grease.

Gordon
