Hi All Found this site and was very pleased to see someone had put up details of my old SR3 (SR300030) the original press car. I bought it from the factory after a test with Mike Hyde and did my first hillclimb at Harewood with it where I entered in the same class as an XTR Westfield however they kicked me out into Sports Libre as an official said 'I've seen that car on Top Gear it's to bloody fast'. I went on to win a couple of Sports Libre class Championships and held the class record with it after I replaced the ZZR1100 with one of Teds 1400cc Busa's. Allan Staniforth was my next door neighbour, he couldn't make any sense of Nick's links even after we went down to Peterborough to see him at the factory, that's how I ended up making ARB's to Allans design. It's a car high on the top of my list of cars I wish I'd kept. I'm now in Australia racing a GR Yaris it couldn't be more different, however at age 80 I need a roof over my head.

Welcome Graham (@sr3rad), it is great to meet you. Thank you for adding more details about SR300030.  You may have noticed that chassis 30 is currently for sale as a rolling chassis.  It looks like it has the Niklinks on it again.

Thanks for that Charley, it looks as though it's been vandalised, if I was in the UK I'd buy it back. Nice project for someone.

Two of the cars I wish I'd kept!
