@charleyhradicalsportscarregistry-com , thankyou for taking the time , you may get fed up with me as I'm a novice when it comes to the radical so go easy 🙂 my main questions will be sourcing parts really or if I need to go direct to radical

Car looks superb in your pic very nice indeed

Thanks Will

@carra23, don’t worry about asking lots of questions.  If you have a question it is highly likely that others will have the same question and will benefit from the dialog.  The last time I saw pictures of chassis 51 it was located in the U.K and it looked pretty intact except for an engine and it was missing the front and rear body sections.  Is it currently in similar condition? Post pictures when you can. 🙂

It's been in the UK a guy brought it for parts for his radical that got crashed so the good parts were taken off to build it back up , I have the full bodywork rearclam needs work but repairable , chassis all good , I have a gen 1 busa engine to go in it , I have many parts with the car just need to go through it all only got delivered Thursday parts i know are missing are

Rear uprights , drive shafts , rear drive unit , steering rack , shocks and springs , probably these are the expensive and hard to find parts knowing my luck but got a great deal on the car

@carra23, sounds like a fun project!  Since you need uprights you might want to check out the rebuildable uprights the Forum member Hans Bliss (@hansbliss99) offers.

One question about your engine… is it a “Radicalized” engine or straight from a motorcycle?

I certainly will check them out,  I could fabricate my own but don't any specs or drawings so may have to look at hans option

Yes straight out of bike so will dry sump it an other usual bits then once ran it if want more power look into it more then .

Priority right now is get it built and running then add to it

@carra23,  be very cautious if you are running a motorcycle Hayabusa. Radical doe quite a few changes to help the engines survive in an automotive application. For r example the clutch basket gets upgraded as well as the timing chain tensioner and guides. It might be worth talking to a Radical shop or RLM to find out what the recommended changes are.

Thanks I will do some research I race my single seater currently and know a couple with radicals running gen 1 engines but not got to them yet to see what they have done,  also my bestmate worked at suzuki race team so hoping he can get some info maybe again need to speak with him too

Here's first possible question 🙂 do the sr1/4 parts fit the sr3 , the dash panel & steering rack I've been offered for mine thanks
