Hi all, looking to see if anyone happens to have a spare SR3 fuel pump they would be willing to part with. I’m converting my carbureted SR3 to fuel injection so the fuel pump must be for a fuel injected car. Please feel free to call or text if you have one or have a lead on one. Thanks! Here are my notes on the my SR1 fuel pump, it is an I tank pump in an aluminum tank. Maybe the overall length is different from an SR3, I would hope not.

The fuel pump is manufactured by VDO p/n 228233005010Z
Complete assembly part number E22-041-027Z.

Hi @graemed, do you have a pic of what the assembly looks like? What engine do you have in your SR1?

@Crit, I have been give three different part numbers for the fuel pumps but only one of the numbers is available in the U.S..  Here are the numbers.

Delphi FG0416

VDO 993 745 0972

Vetech 183vg0240

@charleyhradicalsportscarregistry-com, Thanks Charley, I’m guessing they changed pumps over the years. Googling each of those numbers, each pump looks different and none of them have the black cover that seals to the top of the tank like our cars do. I’m hoping someone over the years has pulled their pump and may have snapped a pic or bought a spare and is willing to share a pic or maybe I can pay one of the Radical shops to shoot a pic of one either new or from a car they are working on to make sure I get the right pump or can design something that will work. I think my main concern is looking at how the pump will mount inside the tank so it doesn’t move around.

@crit -- I responded in the other thread. The Delphi FG0416 (as mentioned by Charley) is what you want. It's only the lower fuel module. If you want the cover, then snag the Delphi FG1079. The SR8 engines use the same pump, so that will be plenty for an SR3. If you want PWM control of your pump -- let me know. We can get rid of that silly return line and mechanical regulator, and lower your fuel temps.

@parsonsj, thank you so much for the part numbers! I’m not familiar with a return-less system. How does that work?

@crit --  here's a post from my MoTeC upgrade a couple of years ago. I did a PWM upgrade at the same time.

My fuel pump from my SR3SL.....it has suddenly stopped working.

As can be seen there are no part numbers on it....Is this the Delphi one?

Thanks Gareth
