Looks like Radical went back to a 570 diameter rear tire for 2019.

Original cup tires were Dunlop treaded, 160/535-13 & 170/570-13,

2017/2018 were Hankook Z205 tarmac rally 160/530-13 & 195/530-13.  To run these rear tires, the rear shocks had to be lengthened, spacers on the upright top attachment, and smaller driven sprocket.

2019 are Hankook Z205, 160/530-13 & 195/570-13  they went back to the original diameter.

Good thing my new Penske dampers are sized for the smaller tire!  I should be able to make some adjustable pushrods to balance the ride height, spring preload and pushrod length.  As I am as low as I can go without running out of shock travel.

I would like to have a single tire that could be used on wet surfaces also  I think they will be about the same cost as the Pirelli DM that I run now.

Well I threw on a set of the 2019 Hankook tires for my last day of the season.

Different car from the Pirelli’s. I used the same set up, didn’t change a thing other than starting pressures

The steering was much lighter, but the overall balance was about the same. They talk a lot more when sliding.  I did go faster in both races of the day, but the Pirellis were not so fresh.

The cost is slightly less, and they seem easier to get thru Hankook Motorsports. I will get another set and run them

PS, I did look at my oil pressure data, and did not have any dips associated with G forces.
