Hi all, trying to source or fabricate a fuel pump for my SR3 as I am converting it from Carb to injection. Has anyone removed their pump and happen to have a pic of it?

I'll be removing my pump tomorrow back at the workshop... I'll try to take a few pictures for you...

Just to clarify, I'm talking about the FIA fuel bladder (76 litre) which has the fuel pump mounted to the left side of the bladder.

@nick02, Hi Nikki, thanks so much for the generous offer, unfortunately I have an aluminum tank and need pics for a top mount pump. I’d still be interested to see what type of pump is used in your bladder though.

Hi Nikki (@nick02), is that a drawing from Radical, or did you make it?

@crit, I may have some pics from my other car which has the aluminium tank... It is a 77 litre aluminium tank though... I'll see what I have and upload here.

@CharleyH this is an AutoCAD model I made of the tank. for Now just for the occupying space, but tomorrow I plan to remove the pump and add details of the openings (behind the pump flange) and filler nozzle. The aim is to have a 3D model that I can send to local bladder manufacturers to get a rebuild quote, without having to send them and "butcher" a good bladder. 🙂

@nick02, I have been working with Harman Racing cells to make replacement fuel cells that cost about half of the part from Radical. They are Fia certified and have a 7 year warranty.  They ship world wide.  I can get you a quote if you are interested.

Yes I did see that... it is interesting though I would be a little afraid of the shipping costs to Europe to be honest... I guess a quote including shipping can't hurt though... I suppose they are ready to take the original ATL fuel cell accessories (i.e. filler Nozzle, breather tube and Pump unit)?

Yes, they can reuse your existing hardware or they can sell a complete tank. A new fuel pump is included.  If you give me your address I can get a quote.

@crit Sorry this is the only picture I have of the pump... I did not take any when I actually took it out. Hopefully it may help somewhat.

@nick02, thanks for the pic, if Radical didn't change what's below, it looks like they use either a VW golf beetle pump or an Audi A3 pump. Still trying to find a picture of the complete pump out of the tank to verify.

Crit -- Radical use a common pump used throughout the VW / Audi line. I've cross-referenced that to a Delphi FG1079.

The Delphi 1410 is the same but has a fuel level sensor.
