SR3 gen 2 wet weight?
Hey all. I have a quick question for anyone with an SR3- What is the non-driver base weight of your SR3?
I just finished rebuilding mine with around 25+ individual carbon layups. Thinned the wiring and rebuilt the rear structures in motorsport Docal metal, updated aero, added titanium exhaust and catch cans etc. For some bonehead reasons I wasn't able to weigh my SR3 before starting the weight loss endeavor. I have a thorough weight before/after on individual parts but I cant account for weight loss on the chassis stuff and wiring thinning. Looking online I am reading published SR3 weights of 1200-1480lbs for a 2010 SR3 out of the factory.
I feel anything close to 1200lb (even bone-dry weight) is an EXTREMELY optimistic number by Radical. Mine is down to 1212lbs with 1/3 tank and all fluids. It'd be interesting to gather real world weight average from owners that have weighed their car during chassis set up.

This is I believe is accurate, all body panels on, 30L of fuel. Most of my weights are with driver and no bodywork but I'm 99% sure this is just car dropped on scales due to an argument with the chief instructor...
Car is a 2011, paddle shifters, bigger brakes, 1500cc, wide wheels. All fiberglass with metal rear wing. 100% ready to go aside from driver. (can't think of anything else that will have a material effect on the weight.)
Side note.. Your car looks awesome.
Excellent ZackO. Thank you for posting that picture. Thats pretty much what I had expected the ballpark weight to be.
I have a 2010. Standard brakes, no headlight, no air lift, 2 seats, 1340cc, standard exhaust and metal wing. The car weight about 1340 lb dry.
not sure if 1500cc is light or because it's a center seat that is about 40 lb lighter than mine.
I have a 2014 SR3, 1500cc, air jacks, full tank of fuel and me in it, I weighed in at 1500lbs on the dot. I weigh 157lbs. So, 1343lbs with all fluids and full tank of fuel.
