Hey to all,

I hoping someone has time to measure the max width of a R3 RSX. I think from all the pictures here it would be wider with the spindle tie downs inserted in place for towing. I am hoping to use a Toy Hauler that I have that has a maximum inside width of 77". The best I can ascertain is the maximum width of the car without the spindle inserts in place is 1800mm or 70.8" (Only printed dimensions are in the manual of a Gen 2 R3 so I hope a R3 RSX is the same). I need to know how much these inserts add to the width when they are in place. Thank you in advance if someone is able to help.

@bird - G'day from Tasmania!

Just reinstalled the rear wheels on my RSX and the Radical supplied tie-down inserts to measure this for you.  1850mm (just under 73") is the exact width of mine.

@rjbender Thank you Rod!!!! I really appreciate you taking the time out of your day to take this measurement. I looks like it will work perfectly. I have read so many of your posts over the last few months and greatly appreciate all of your input. This site that CharleyH has put together is absolutely amazing and filled with critical information for newbies like me and all of you with experience in these cars. CharleyH built it and people like you have filled it with incredible information. Thank you Rod and to all who contribute.
