Perhaps it's just me but every time I used the factory nut and bolt setup I'd always drop the nut off while installing or removing them and it would inevitably bounce under the car wasting even more time! So I began looking for a solution and just found it! They will only go it one way but much easier to use especially with gloves on. I may safety wire them onto the eyes with a long wire so they are become an a set. Check out part number G2320421 on Zoro.com

So I got a set of these also. But was told by a Radical shop that the safety pins scratch the wheels easier then the bolt setup does. Just watch what’s hanging down and maybe only install once stationary.

@bluefunelement .. I purchased some as well, they are great!  I also noticed that they (just) touch the painted rim... as suggested, I think it will be fine as there is no 'relative' movement once installed.

Me three. It's way better than trying to get a nut started on the end of a bolt you can't see. You can put a vinyl cap on the exposed sharp edge, though my wheels are so old and "well-used" I don't worry about it.

I bought the same ones a while back and just started using them.  I filed the end of the pin to smooth out the sharp edges and it's good enough to not leave any deep scratches.  Way more convenient than the bolt and locknut.

I would prefer this style of safety pin but haven't found one that fits.

I’ve been using yellow drywall anchors. Fit great and replaceable easy.
