Race Ramp source for Radicals
Holy sticker shock batman. Here is what I was told:
>
Each set is $1,300 + shipping. Shipping depending on location is likely $150-ish

If you still want a set of these, PM me. I'm out, that cost is crazy, but I don't mind helping others get it if they want since it's all set up with RR now.
Wow! They really must not want to make them if they are charging that much
@pmak26 I ordered a set today with Christina at race ramps. Same thing, 3 weeks and 150 shipping
@niknam Nice! Glad someone ordered after the weeks of back and forth I've gone through with them over these ramps haha
@schneller Email Christina < ckwan@raceramps.com > directly with the part number RLL-TR-114-2 and she'll take care of you.
I'm going to fully admit, after dropping my Radical off my trailer because the woods slipped out... (thank goodness for the air jacks I was able to get it back up and off the trailer with no damage) I ponied up and ordered the race ramps too.
Does anyone unhook the trailer, place some thick wood under the rear frame of the trailer, and crank up the jack to lower the angle of approach? I think this would be stable especially with winching the car in.
I'm picking up our SR3 in a few weeks for the first time. I got a bunch of long planks similar to what Jonathan at Group A does. Hopefully it'll work with my trailer set up.
I plan on using the wheel center pin adapters to secure. I've read several posts on here about using just the rear wheel with F and R D-rings.
I've always towed my cars in neutral. Do you all do this with the SR3 type transmission as well?
Sorry for the newb Qs.
@coochas Dave, I crank up the trailer to reduce the angle like you mentioned, except that I leave it attached to my truck when I do it. That does help a lot. It makes enough difference that I don't use my two-piece Race Ramps anymore -- I just use the longest one-piece RRs. And I strap the car on the back only and always tow in neutral.
@coochas… Hi from Tasmania, Australia!
Refer here for my post on how I jack the front of my trailer up to do what you’re asking about. I have a particularly difficult situation when loading as I’m parked next to me garage on a driveway that’s fairly steep… with the car parked on a section that is more level than where the car/trailer park….so loading/unloading is much more difficult than at the track(s) where a flat surface can be used.
Hope this helps… and that you enjoy your new XXR
