I called a friend of mine at Spring Mountain to ask them what they use in their shop. They said that they spray WD-40 on the threads and spindle and then wipe it clean so there is only a thin layer.

My local Radical dealer/race shop uses aerosol graphite spray on the cars they maintain. Cleaner than paste.

There are two plastic anchor points on the crash structure, I use them for my string bar, they line up perfectly. I'm am pretty sure that's what they are for. Attachment : IMG_0538.JPG

@rjbender I use a 250W heat pad on the swirl pot. But if I had it to do over again I think I'd use a bigger one to heat up more quickly & thoroughly.

The coolant in my car comes up to temperature really fast, oil takes a while even with the wolverine preheater on the sump. Maybe that's due to the arctic temps we run in up here in Wisconsin though?...
