@trakmnky well except the main output axle from

gearbox and heavyduty shafts to the wheels i personally dont think the power is going to be any issue for drivetrain, im

never. Launching it and im only pulling full power while im allready as speed.

standing still and launching it will boost and racing slicks offc. Shit will break hehhe;)

im hoping for 450-500bhp st crank. Should not be any problems at all, but for endurance trackdays where i do about 200km full pace in one day i will have about 250whp to the wheels, and the 350whp with boostbypass on my steeringwheel for the long straights and passing others 🤣

all depend on temperatures .. my ecu is highly advanced and will not allow me to do ANYTHING if im outside limits/threshold i set.. that means also power/boost by gear or GPS speed.

tractioncontrol will be added later this year

Also with live diagnosis.. anything outside parametres or dead sensor, engine shuts down power and gives me full information

@lunatic, are you upgrading the transmission gears to the Quaife built gears used in the 1500s?

@charleyhradicalsportscarregistry-com its an earlier Gen 1 engine so it has a 4 dog gearbox and the later Gen 2 5 dog HD gears do not fit!

@charleyhradicalsportscarregistry-com nope.. ill stay with oem ones. Only upgrade is the output shaft and hd shaft/bolt that holds the shifting forks. They tend to bend ive heard. Except that.. im riding with jesus, hoping for the best🤣🤣🤣

@charleyhradicalsportscarregistry-com hehe, im really curious how this will end..

ive never touched a busa engin before and its really not much info to find about it that except for dragracing. everyone keeps their builds to their own.. that sucks if you ask me...

but i think with all that enginesafe and coolingsystem i have that only a mechanical failure can be possible

Ok! So first day in dyno was kind of a sucess.. or so!

Absolutely NO issues at all! Not mechanical, not heat or leaks.

IAT was all the time at 28-29c, never raised over 30 degree and this was even without external fans! Just the radiatorfan pulling air from the garage!

watercooled intercooler was really efficient, and the size of plenum really gave it good power with absolutely no backpressure what so ever! Engine temp l the time at 80-86. Never above.

boostcreep issues and overboost way over what i wanted, so far 290hp + /230nm to the wheels at 0.8bar

trying to control the pressure was not possible at all, more rpm gives more boost and insane amount of power. So i need to rebuild now to a muuuch larger and external wastegate. Lesson learned.

the accelration is so insane that without any much resistance at the dyno, we several times passed above rpm limiter at 10800.. log showed all way up to 11200rpm..

this thing is gonna be nightmare to drive haha..

SO.. tractioncontrol build now as well. Goal is about 350-400 wheel ponies at next dyno at max, and low as 250whp. All controlled by speed, gear and overboost button at the wheel!

at least it sounds good!

Great read

Are you looking to use the car in the road ? Interested to see if you change suspension setup for road use, as find track setup makes it “interesting” on the road for mine 😉
