Sorry Richard! I sure didn't mean to leave that impression!

btw, I've got a preliminary effort going with VelocityHaus in Gilroy CA to see about Wilwood conversions for our cars. If anything comes of it, I'll let the community know.

Hey Charlie, any new info for me on getting my paws on one of those rotors?

I'm still trying.  Did you confirm that you need the Rotor?  The more I think about it I would think they would just need the current hat and the rotor thickness.  The more I am digging I am finding that getting some key dimensions off of the rotors is easier then getting the rotor.  I am still working on it, but if you could confirm what information your really need it would be helpful.

Dummy me realized a couple of days ago that I have carbon hats - I adapted steel rotors to them.  Been busy with another project and I tend to get focused on that and loose all the rest until I step back into it.

On page two of this thread I have most of the dimensions of the rotors in photos.  I'll contact HiSpec (not heard back yet) and see if they can pull enough info off of those pictures.  I'll report back.

I haven't read everything mentioned above so apologies if this is repeated information.  SR8 300mm rotors do fit inside the standard 15" wheel.  I usually get Coleman rotors made to fit the radical hats.  I do have the drawings for the rotors and have shared with parsonsJ but that was in exchange for some very reasonably priced parts from John so I'll let John share the dimensions if he spots this.

Anyway, I'm not sure the four piston 300mm steel setup is all that and a bag of chips anyway.  Reason, we bought a Ginetta GT4 in 2018 and that car stops with a capital "S".  It really does, in my opinion, shame the SR8 as the SR8 should, one would think, stop harder than a 2300# GT car.  I've tried PFC 01, 11 and 13's, boiled brake fluid and cracked rotors and still don't have a solution I'm happy with.

This has prompted another SR8 science project - six piston wilwood brakes standard 300mm Radical rotors.  I'm waiting for my calipers to come back from the powder coater (I had to mill some material off the wilwoods), but if there is interest I/we may be able to make the parts for others when we finish developing...
