Where I live there is a pretty long off season which gives me a decent amount of time for projects.

Do any of you have anything you want to do to your car in your off season?

I plan on finishing a electric coolomg fan install I started while I was replacing the broken output shaft.

I will proably not have the funds to do it but I have been reading alot about the ecu master products that were covered here in the turbo sr3 project thread. They are quite the capable product lineup and I will more than likely buying some of their stuff for next season.

I am also going to be changing my rear wing endplate design to the longer dropped version if that makes sense.

Hi Josh -- I'm a tinkerer too, and I agree on it being half the fun. I wanted to install a clutch actuator this past fall (my track "season" is from December to May), but I couldn't get the vendor to sell me one. Weird. The idea is move the clutch to the steering wheel (formula-style) and move the brake pedal to the left for easier left foot braking.

Anyway, maybe next year.

My tinkering is limited to routine maintenance.  Unfortunately (or probably fortunately) I have a pretty good idea of what's beyond my skill set and try to stay under that threshold even though I would love to have half the knowledge as some of the people on here.

Now that my old Prosport is updated with quality dampers, brakes, larger wheels, fuel injection and RPE dry sump in a 1340, I'm preparing a 1500 for the upcoming season.

Charley has told me that when a PR6 was fitted with a 1500, it was coined "the devils child", which has me wondering if this is a great or mad idea! Either way, I am very excited to find out.

I spent this winter redoing the exterior.  Chassis 789, removed ‘Spider-Man’ wrap.  New engine install next week.
