On the helmet lifting, I found that the Stilo helmet solved that problem for me. I had significant problems wit that before, and the Stilo fixed me right up. Oh, and welcome to the site!

Facet pump was standard. Off the top of my head I want to say 2-4 psi fuel pressure, but this was a long time ago! I would maybe think that you float bowls are sticking/not shutting off.
