Sooooo Jelly!
This is a nice project, keep the pics rolling.
Im pretty sure this can get very interresting for street use🤣🤣
Do you have a better angle picture of all the bits n pieces on the passenger side. Looks like you have moved a lot out of the engine bay.
Anyone here knows the wiring diagram for gen1 gear indikator? There are 3 cables comming out , is one 5v, signal and one ground? Or is one of them Neutral?
or would this be correct?
@benmi can give you better pic later this week, not done yet but im moving what ever i can to the left sidepod. Ecu, gps module, traction module, fuelpumps, boostcontroller and so on, most electric will be hidden and protected from water and heat there.
Exhaust will
be comming out only on right side of engine, left side comes piping from turbo and watercooled intercooler. Need to make some space there;)
So, manifold is done and fits perfect! Trying to make it compact and close to engine as possible. Hoping for better response snd less heat/backpressure issues with a longpipe/collector setup, rathern than cheap turbo manifolds that all gather into 2pipes.
this guy is only 25yrs old that made them;)
added turbo springs to clutch pack insane difference from the HD springset
Looks Fantatic!
Hi guys.. been slow on the updates here.. some pics comming up!
My new plenum with watercooled intercooler is just finnished. Used a core from a berlingo intercooler
perfect size for this fitment, radiator to cool down the intercooler is modified from a mini morris
Looks great! I wonder if you've got enough clearance around the pipes. I think you'd want a minimum of 20mm or you'll discolor the glass and gel-coat from the heat.
Pipes are 63mm, opening is 85mm, bit i will cover around the holes with carbon, and heat protection under wing from when im standing still /idling. While driving this will not be any issue i hope as the drag will pull it away;)
But its really tightfit with rest🤣🤣
Other than the axles, are you going to upgrade the drivetrain at all? What kind of numbers do you expect to get out of the motor?
Really interesting project, thanks for posting and allowing all of us to follow it!
