RE: First time Oil Change

I always loosen from the can side, it's quite a bit easier to get off.

RE: Can I afford this thing?

Yep that Hankooks. The rears on my first set that had 1700 miles still have plenty of life left. Only the fronts corded.

RE: Can I afford this thing?

After that initial fall off you can run them for along time without experiencing much more degradation. I have set all my track record a with old tires so far.

RE: Can I afford this thing?

@davidf are you racing or just doing track days? I have been running Time Trials with NASA and have been putting 1200 - 1700 miles on before cording them out. Times degrade a little but it is still re...

Alignment/setup tools

I'm getting ready to buy some scales, camber/caster, toe, alignment equipment and was curious what works best with the Radical. Any favorites or ones to stay away from?

RE: Oil Pre Heater, anyone using one?

Usually 70 - 80 C. I don't run the heater for that long unless it's below 70F outside. I always run it, but only if it's cold out do I worry about getting it running for a while.

RE: Oil Pre Heater, anyone using one?

I've got the external type. As long as you have at least an hour to leave it on it makes a big difference in warm up time.

RE: Fuel choices

I run the oxygenated version. The VP version is oxygenated as well.
