Brake caliper bleeding
For an SR3, is it the standard brake bleeding that is typical of any race car? Start with furthest caliper, push pedal, have tube in fluid, open nipple, close, release pedal, repeat a few times, move to next caliper. Keep filling reservoirs as you go.
Yes, it is th same as any other race car.

Not sure it makes much difference but Stradale told me to do the inside before the outside of the caliper. 4 piston caliper so two bleed screws per caliper.
one thing to remember is that with one of the axle circuits open (front or back) the master cylinder for that circuit will travel much farther than the other, and possibly bind the bias adjuster.
I used a vacuum bleeder for that reason, plus it becomes a one person job.
Is this the right adapter for a Radical?

Our masters are Girling -- so not sure. I made my own adapter for my pressure bleeder. Let us know if it works, please!
Will do. The cap on the masters in my SR3 say Tilton on them.
ah, seems Radical has made an OEM change then. Both of my SR8s are Girling -- shouldn't have assumed it was always that way. 🙂
What year is your SR3?
Roughly 2015.
