Hello. I just purchased my first Radical this past Sunday, from a good buddy in town. It's a 2012 SR3, and it's parked at MSRH with my friend's newly acquired SR8. I haven't had a chance to shake it down yet due to 1) incredible summer heat here in Houston and 2) my helmet kept lifting up during laps. I already purchased the chin and top helmet spoilers to help rectify the lift issue, but can't do anything about the heat. I hope to get out there in a couple months and really shake it down. Happy to learn from you guys. Cheers!

Congratulations on the new car! And welcome to the Registry.  Have you added it to the Registry yet?  The more cars we can get into the database the better.

Regarding the Aero buffeting you are getting with your helmet, the Beas way I found to eliminate it is to put a ~1” tall strip of plexiglass in n front of you like a small windshield and it pushes the air over your head. They work great!

On the helmet lifting, I found that the Stilo helmet solved that problem for me. I had significant problems wit that before, and the Stilo fixed me right up.

Oh, and welcome to the site!

Welcome to the forum.  I’ve had my 2013 SR3 since June 1.   Did track day this past weekend in the brutal Alabama heat.

Thank you for the warm welcome, guys! I will add my sr3 to the registry.
I think my helmet should be better with the sparco top spoiler and chin spoiler added.
Look forward to seeing you guys at a track (whether TX or up-north) soon!

Will, Adding a Lexan "Gurney lip" will definitely solve all of your problems. I am "body tall" so my head stick way up into the air stream.  Adding a spoiler helped a bit, but adding a Gurney lip totally solved the problem. Check out the comments in this new post on Helmet lift.  https://radicalsportscarregistry.com/radicalforum/safety-gear/helmet-lift/
